Antonio Paoletti was a 19C Italian portrait & genre painter, who lived most of his life in Venice. He was entranced by scenes of young & old going about their daily lives, often feeding the birds in front of the incredible architecture of Venice. He exhibited in Milam, Turin & Rome, winning the Venice prize in 1894.
